Sunny Singh

Trainee

LLB (Hons) – London School of Economics and Political Science

Since graduating from the London School of Economics in 2023, Sunny returned to Singapore to pursue commercial and criminal litigation. Naturally, this led her to join Silvester Legal LLC to undergo her one-year training period.

Sunny is dedicated to developing her legal and advocacy skills to best serve clients and the community. Fearing no challenge, she is committed to finding well-crafted solutions through creative and intellectual means. With a close-knitted team with valuable experience, she looks forward to the trials and tribulations of the legal world and coming out stronger.

Outside of work, Sunny spends her time volunteering for the community, particularly through youth mentoring. She has previous experience with advocating for legal aid in the UK and hopes to bring back the same enthusiasm that got her into law – justice is for everyone.

What it is like partnering with Sunny.

Working with Sunny means having someone who approaches disputes with careful attention to the underlying facts. Her work frequently involves commercial and criminal matters, while her wider exposure includes family law. Much of her time is spent assisting with commercial litigation and criminal cases, where the detail within the documents often determines how a dispute unfolds.

In disputes, the key issues are often found in contracts, correspondence, internal records, and financial documents. Sunny spends time understanding how those materials connect so that the legal team has a clear picture of the dispute. This work is particularly relevant in matters such as shareholder disputes, minority oppression claims, director disputes, breach of contract cases, and criminal matters, where the stakes can be immediate and personal.

In many corporate disputes, business owners want to understand what the dispute means for the company and what may happen as the case progresses. Sunny supports the legal team by organising the facts and documents that form the foundation of High Court matters and other commercial litigation. Careful document work also helps the team assess financial exposure and develop an informed case strategy.

Her approach is guided by a simple principle. When the stakes are high, the work should remain focused on what ultimately matters in the dispute.

“Good advocacy begins with understanding the facts properly. My role is to make sure nothing important is overlooked.”

Our victories.
In our clients’ words.
