Linus

Trainee Lawyer

Linus is a trainee lawyer in the firm's commercial litigation practice. He supports matters involving shareholder disputes, minority oppression claims, director disputes, and breach of contract. His work forms part of broader High Court matters and corporate disputes where financial, operational, and governance issues often intersect. His exposure to business advisory and corporate advisory services also allows him to see how shareholder arrangements and contractual structures can either reduce or contribute to future disputes.

What It Is Like Partnering with Linus.

Working under close supervision, Linus is developing a practical understanding of what business owners and directors look for when disputes arise. This includes understanding the financial risks involved, the time and attention management must give to the dispute, and the overall cost of going to court. He believes that sound dispute work requires commercial awareness as well as legal reasoning. Even at the trainee level, he focuses on contributing reliably to the team's case preparation while building the judgment required for long-term practice in corporate disputes and commercial litigation.

"Every detail in a case exists for a reason. My job is to find out why it matters."
